Get to know the mix of buddhistic and hindu lifestyle close up and experience a city full of history, religion and culture. Experience the Bagmati River and the Sadhus (holy men) and funerals by the river. It's intense, but quite an experience. Oh, and when you're out for dinner, check out either Le Sherpa or Bhojan Griha - two excellent options with traditional nepali food.
Your first real adventure is on it's way. This 6 day trek takes you from Kathmandu to Pokhara, where you'll pass beautiful rice terraces, river valleys and stunning local villages situated in the mountains. We know it's a cliché, but the trekking in this area is completely out-of-this-world. There is around 25 hours of trekking during the trip, but we can guarantee you that it's worht every minute. You end the 6 day trip in Pokhara, where it's time to digest and take care of your feet for a few days.
Time in Pokhara is on your own. So you can basically do whatever you want. We can recommend that you rent a scooter and check out the neighbourhoods of the city, and a thing you shouldn't miss is the sunrise from Sarangkot Viewpoint. We also encourage you to rent a Stand-up-paddle board and spend some time on the lakes. It's a nice experience as well.
Find your own way back to Kathmandu where the included 4 day group trip starts. Meet your new friends and go on a journey together through the lush Chitwan National Park where there's an opportunity to check out plenty of different animal species such as rhinos and even tigers. Maybe you're lucky you spot them?
Hop on board the flight, that takes you to Kochi in the Kerala province. Here you have time on your own hands. We suggest that you spend around 3-4 days here. Enjoy the laid back vibe in this southern city and take a stroll by the sea side to check out the unique chinese fishing nets. There's a lot of nice colonial architecture and good photo opportunities. If you want to find the coolest souvenirs explore the Jew Town in Kochi.
This 7 day trip takes you past some of the coolest places in the southern part of India. First stop is Alleppey, where you'll learn about life along the lagoon and canals before sleeping in a homestay. Next up is Kollam where you can enjoy the beaches or check out the local nightlife. From Kollam you continue to the local fishing community of Varkala where there will be plenty of time on your own to explore. The trip ends back in Kochi which is also where you will return home from.
