La Paz, Welcome to Bolivia
Your adventure starts off in La Paz, the world's highest located capital. Here we've included an arrival package to make sure you get a smooth start to your trip - this means that airport transfer and accommodation for first 2 nights has been sorted for you.
On your second day there will also be an included trip to the Tiwanaku ruins, located about 1,5 hours from La Paz. The ancient city and culture of Tiwanaku is one of the most important on the American continent as it is believed that they were even more advanced in pottery, astronomy and math than the neighboring Incas!
La Paz to Buenos Aires, Through the Atacama desert
On this 15-day adventure, you'll journey across the surreal landscapes of the Atacama Desert and the salt flats of Salar de Uyuni, traveling all the way from La Paz to Argentina's capital Buenos Aires (also including a small detour in Chile). During this leg of the trip, you will have the perfect opportunity to learn more about local culture and to experience the vibrant towns, while simultaneously enjoying the magnificent scenery that surrounds you.
The tour from La Paz to Buenos Aires is an organized group adventure, meaning that you will be sharing the unforgettable moments of the trip with other backpackers from around the world.
Buenos Aires, City life and tango
Welcome to Argentina's bustling capital, Buenos Aires! We've included a 4-day stay in the city, which of course means that your accommodation is taken care of. You'll have plenty of time to explore the city independently, but you'll also take part in a guided tour around the main sights to get the most out of your Buenos Aires experience.
Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, The magical Iguazu Falls
After chilling at the beach for a few days, it's time to return to Buenos Aires and head off to your next adventure. This time around you will be traveling towards Rio de Janeiro, experiencing some of the most amazing nature and history on the way.
First up is a night bus from Buenos Aires to the border of Argentina and Brazil, where the magnificent Iguazu Falls are located. You'll have 2 full days to admire this breathtaking view before continuing to Rio de Janeiro.
Rio de Janeiro, Explore the city
Next you'll have the chance to explore some of Rio de Janeiro's main sights at your own pace: take the cable car up the Sugarloaf Mountain, go see the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue and chill at the Copacabana beach. We have included 2 nights in a hostel and a return flight home, but you can of course choose to extend your stay or continue your trip elsewhere. So if you are not ready to go home just yet and want to move on to your next adventure, we are more than happy to help you with that.
