This program is for students who want to travel and learn Spanish. Sharing daily activities like shopping and cooking with a Spanish speaking instructor, you will be immersed in a fun and inspiring atmosphere for learning Spanish. This is a non-traditional classroom that will make learning a new language fun and give you the opportunity to truly experience a cultural engagement.
You will start your travelling classroom in Panama City. Outside your Spanish lessons you will get to explore historical parts of Panama and the famous Panama Canal, you will take Latin dance lessons and snorkel at the San Blas Islands. You start engaging with locals using your basic Spanish skills – making it so much faster to learn.
Further on you will get to travel to Boquete on local busses. You will get the option to live with a local family – an experience that will immerse you into the local culture more than anything. Beside visiting local schools and taking your Spanish lessons you will get the possibility to go hiking, see waterfalls and hot springs, do a coffee tour and explore Barú volcano.
Your third stop is the Caribbean Island of Bocas del Toro. The Spanish school can be combined with PADI courses at the local Dive school, and you can explore many attractions around the island.
Your final stop is Costa Rica. At this time your Spanish skills will have improved significantly, and you will be given the option to take a voluntary language test (A1 to C2) and everyone will earn their certificates. Of course, you will also get to enjoy amazing excursions with stunning beauty and perhaps a thrilling rafting trip.
In the end you will have upskilled your self in so many ways. You will have a better understanding of the Spanish language, you will have experienced a cultural engagement and explored local and non-touristy towns as well as world known places. Finally, you will have a personal development like no other and probably new friends for life.
