Home Again
Returning home after several months on the road can in some cases feel like a reversed culture shock. Back to normal can be quite a challenge after visiting the most exotic destinations and spending time doing exciting activities. For some travellers this is even worse that the original culture shock at the beginning of the journey.
Knowing about this potentially difficult transition period will be beneficial for any traveler returning home and finding it hard to keep up with friends, family and colleagues. Most backpackers and gap-year travelers will return home to a new life in college or university or perhaps a new job. From day one your new school or job will expect concentration and focus. It is recommended that you take your time and have a few weeks in-between-time to adjust to your regular life and doings.
